N. Suryamega We ended up doing just a glacier landing with helicopter (I think it was JU14 Mendenhall Glacier: Ice Age by Helicopter). This was excellent, and should not be passed up. The helicopter ride was smooth, the guides at the glacier were friendly and knowledgeable. And the feeling you get when standing on the glacier was indescribable. We also did whale watching (JU24 Whale Watching), which again was excellent. Instead of a big catamaran, we were on a small boat close to the water, and thus closer to the animals. Also, since it was a small ship, there were only at most 10 people on board. We saw a lot of whales, some seals, and many eagles. The captain and the guide were both knowledgeable.
