Kellie Mysinger My mother and I took a float trip from the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau down the Mendenhall River. This was really fun—not too many rapids and lots of eagles were seen. My husband and father took a fishing trip—this was a disappointment. For $178.00/pp they got on a fishing boat, watched the captain set out some lines and drove around for a couple of hours. No catching fish was O.K., but they felt like they were observing and not fishing.
